Badminton lesson

I started to learn badminton from a local coach team.  The head coach is very strict, and sometimes scary.  I like going there with my friend Annie, and try to learn as much as I can.

Ready for Ballet pointe shoes

I am finally ready to put on ballet pointe shoes.  It's not harder to find balance than I expected, but I really feel advanced when I put them on.  I'll have to keep practicing.

First day of G5

My first day of going to SSIS doesn't seem to be too long ago while this is going to be my 5.5 years.  I have enjoyed my school very much and look forward to the new semester!

Earlier Mona Lisa exhibition

We went to "Earlier Mona Lisa" exhibition in Shanghai Xintiandi.  It's quite intriguing to learn there might have been another Mona Lisa painting prior to the famous one in Louvre.

Jump 360

We were finally back to Shanghai ready for the new school year.  I went to Jump 360 with Corena and and some other friends after the orientation in the morning.  It was pretty fun but very warm as the air conditioning was not on.

Meeting my pal Megan

Meeting Megan has become one of my routines when I am back in Taiwan since she moved back to Taiwan two years ago.  She has grown up so much.  Mom enjoys talking with her mom while we two are playing.

Art crafts in Taipei office

Doing art crafts in Taipei office is one of my favorite things to do when I am in Taiwan.  Just cut and paste (in a real way) makes me very fulfilling.

Cable car

We took the cable car to 九族文化村 and back.  It's clean and felt safe.  The mountain and lake views are picturesque.

Breakfast at the roof deck

Food just becomes more tasty when you eat it with great view.  You need to be old enough (at least 16 years old?) in order to eat in this roof deck restaurant for safety and also for other customers' enjoyment.

Happy Birthday to Grandpa

One of the purposes of this trip is to celebrate Grandpa's birthday!  We wish you great health and happiness!

Boat tour

Since this year's Taiwan's presidential election on 5/20, the number of tourists from mainland China has decreased significantly.  We got to enjoy the quite and tranquil lake in this summer afternoon.

We started our 3-day-2-night trip to Sun Moon Lake.  This is the restaurant serving local cuisine.

I finally got to the point that a pair of glasses is needed.  I wish I wouldn't need a new pair for a long time.

Dinner before heading to the airport.  That concluded our 6-weeks summer trip in the US.

Ella was on her white water rafting trip with her dad yesterday when we went to San Francisco, so she came to meet with us in Burlingame.

As Auntie Weichi had never toured City of San Francisco yet, Auntie Wendy was very kind to take us to San Francisco as tourists.  We went to the piers, Lombard Street, and Union Square.  Mom hasn't been in SF for many years as well.  Thanks to Auntie Wendy and Lyle's company, we all had a great time!

We had a free afternoon after the meeting, so we strolled in Madison.

We went to University of Wisconsin, Madison.  They had a life band and boatings on campus.

Mom and Uncle Ian had a meeting in the morning.  We had lunch with Jim and Lynn.  Jim is Grandpa's long time friend.  Two families went on a cruise trip in Caribbean in 1999.
