Happy Birthday to Mom!

Happy Birthday to my dearest mom!  A cake, a card, same photo setting every year.  Mom hopes she won't get aged too quickly...  I wish you all the best!!

Auntie Tzu-Ching's visit

It was the first time that Auntie Tzu-Ching visited us in Shanghai.  She just returned from Everest Base Camp Trek tour a day ago.  Uncle Olivier got sick during the trip so he was unable to join the lunch.  His condition got worse, so their 1-day visit became 3-day stay.  The good thing is Mom got to spend more time with Auntie Tzu-Ching.  However, she got a pretty serious flu right before leaving Shanghai and spent a whole week in bed as soon as they landed in LA.

Mom said her color mixtures made the art more like forest than desert.  Using two colors with black and white to create an artwork is not easy.

Swimming pals

They are my Sunday swimming pals.  You can't see the tears and sweat from the pictures but there are some tough times but I am sure tomorrow will be a better day!
