We are visiting the Lake Geneva , Wisconsin. This resort town is about 75 miles from Chicago. My parents told me that the family had a reunion here this summer.

After the tasty thing, here is what I got--four more shots--two on each thigh. At first, the feeling was weird. I was not sure what was going on. After the first one, I saw what's coming next and started panicking. I felt awful and hoped tomorrow would be another day!

My 2-month checkup

I had my 2-month checkup today, and I am 22" tall (50th percentile) and 10 lbs (almost 50th percentile). I also had a couple immunization shots today. Here is the first one--Rotavirus Vaccine (tastes not bad)!

This is my first field trip!

This is my first Thanksgiving. My grandpa and parents took me to Chicago Botanic Garden. The weather was fine. I did not do too much sightseeing because I was asleep most of the time.

It is 6:30pm. Papa just came back home from work. It is so nice to see him and keep him busy.

Many thanks to Grandma to take care of me since I was born, and thank Grandpa for coming to celebrate my one month old birthday. They are leaving for Taiwan tomorrow. Grandpa and grandma, I promise I will show you a lot of new tricks when I see you next time.

Do you see the red spots on my face? They say they are baby acne. I am not bothered by them, but I guess you would not see my close-up for a while.

1 Month Celebration

I am one month old today. It's a big day in Taiwanese culture. We went to Drake Bros. Steak House at The Drake Hotel. I was very cooperative--As you could tell, I slept until the picture time. Grandpa and Grandma were so happy that they would take me out for dinner often! :)

During my 3rd week check...

I was waiting for the doctor to come and trying roll-over. My mom got scared and her scream scared me.

My 3rd week check-up

I went to the hospital for my 3rd week check-up. I am now 21 inches (53.3 cm) and 8 lb 5 oz (3774 grams). Doctor said I have grown very well. Many thanks go to mom for eating and nursing hard for me.

Visit of Mom's aunt and cousin

Mom's 3rd aunt and cousin drove to Chicago from Indiana, Pennsylvania to visit us this weekend. Grandma showed them around in Downtown Chicago. They bought caramel popcorns from Garrett shop. So delicious that I hope I could have a bite!

Searching for food, eating, being burped, day dreaming are pretty much what I do when I am awake.

First check-up

Today I had my first check-up by Dr. Chandra. That was the first time Mom and I went out since we had come back from the hospital. It's really nice to breathe some fresh air.

I am 7 lb 5 oz, and 52 cm now. Given my birth weight of 7 lb 2 oz, height of 48 cm, Mom's efforts in nursing me really paid off!

Today is Oct 12. I went home with Dad, Mom and Grandma. It was snowing outside. We were all surprised by this early snow.

My room is so comfortable that I have good sleep most of the day.

My mom is trying very hard to feed me with her milk. I think I can be a superwoman in the future.

Today is my 3rd night in the hospital. Mom and Dad managed to bring me back from Special Care Unit. They were so excited to be with me but my company kept my Mom and Dad awake most of the night. We are going home tomorrow!

Hello everyone!

Today is Oct 8th. After a long stay in my mom's belly, I finally arrived. Hello everyone, here I am at the Northwestern Memorial Hospital!

Due Day

Today is the official due date, but I am still inside my mom. Dr. Clinton said that I am doing fine, and Dad and Mom need not to worry about my being "late" at this moment. Mom received a couple family phone calls to ask whether I have arrived. Mom is a bit anxious but I will try my best to cooperate.

Grandma and Uncle Ian came to Chicago on Saturday to wait for my arrival. Grandma will stay here for 1+ month to help take care of Mom and me.

38 Weeks!

It's Mom's 38th week's belly! Dad said I have dropped. I said you will see me soon! :)

Station: -2

Today, mom had her routine prenatal checkup. I am almost 38 weeks now! Dr. DiPasquale performed an internal exam and told mom that the station I was at is -2, which means my head has already descended at least 2 cm more now. Haha, I am getting ready!

Full term baby!

I am now considered to be full term, which means I am ready anytime to see the world. I am so excited!

My cousin Jewel Chen

My new cousin Jewel was born this morning at 6 AM in LA. Her big sister Megan is 3 years old and is very fun to be around. I hope we will play together soon!

U-Pick Apple

We went to Apple Holler Orchard in Sturtevant, WI to pick apples today. We picked a full bag of apples and tasted a couple along the way. It's quite fun! I wish I would pick by myself someday soon!

35th week checkup

Yesterday mom and dad peeked at me via ultrasound. Dr. Clinton said I weighted about 5 lb 6 oz (2440 g), and I might come out in 3 weeks. It's cheerful news for all of us.
