35th week checkup

Yesterday mom and dad peeked at me via ultrasound. Dr. Clinton said I weighted about 5 lb 6 oz (2440 g), and I might come out in 3 weeks. It's cheerful news for all of us.

That's my mom's picture taken today. I think I look big. How much will I look like mom?

Breastfeeding class

Mom and Dad attended the Breastfeeding class today. It's the last class on the list that they planned to attend. Seems they are ready to rock!

Great Expectations

Dad and Mom had "Great Expectations" class from 8:30 AM to 5:10 PM at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. It is about labor and delivery, relaxation techniques, and some basic newborn care. The instructor led a tour to the delivery room and postpartum room. They look very nice. I will get to stay with my parents all the time instead of being put in the nursery. That's neat! Mom was a little bit nervous when watching the child birth video. I know it might look tough, but I know we will do just fine.

Infant CPR

Mom had her 33rd week checkup today. Dr. Bonner said my heart beats are strong and sound, and mom's belly size looks good.

Dad and mom had Infant CPR class this evening. It seems a bit scary when CPR is needed. Dad and mom practiced hard, but I hope I would never need it.

Happy Father's Day!

8/8 is Father's Day in Taiwan. I wish my dear daddy a happy Father's Day. I guess he would be thrilled when I can actually say these words to him. I'll keep practicing!

I am moving a lot

My mom told me that I have been moving a lot lately. Hehe! I guess I just try to stretch a bit. Mom, I promise I will try not to make you too uncomfortable.

Hello, this is Jolene Chu! I am still in my mom's belly, but I am already looking forward to seeing this world and meeting all of you. According to the info I have received from my mom, I bet it'll be a cool journey. See you guys in a couple weeks!
