Water balloon fight

Water balloon fight with Allison and Bella.

Mary, the piano teacher

Mary is my piano teacher in Evanston.  This is my second summer with her.  She is very patient, encouraging and fun.  She said that I had accomplished a lot in a very short time.  I really like her and enjoyed her lessons, which really makes my practice more efficient.  See you again, next summer.

Taking Metra to Chicago

It's less than 30 minutes from Evanston to Chicago by Metra train, but it's another 20 minutes walk from the train station to Millennium Park.  It's a pretty warm day while there was a big crowd in the city.

Art Institute of Chicago

Another must-visit in Chicago every summer.

Navy Pier--The Little Mermaid and rides

We went to Navy Pier with my Ivy Court pals--Allison and Bella.
We watched the children musical--The Little Mermaid, and got the autographies of Prince Eric and Princess Andrina while Ariel was too busy.
We got on the Ferris wheel, wave swinger and carousel.  That was my first time riding the wave swinger.  So exciting!

Woodfield Mall

Mom drove an hour to the largest mall in Illinois--Woodfield Mall for Rainforest Cafe.  I like the setting of the restaurant, and plan to go there as one of the summer routines.

Piano practice

After 3 camps in a row, I still made it to practice the piano in the evening before dinner.  Mom was very proud of me.

Ice skating camp

Two weeks of ice skating camp ended today.  I've improved a lot in my ice skating skills.  In the ice skating camp, we did one hour skating on ice, one hour in body conditioning, and one hour in art.  Here is two lovely chickens I made.

Golf camp

I had two great weeks of the golf camp.  That's my counselor, Carri.  I'll continue to practice more.

First time going to the movies in the US

This was my first time going to the movies in the US.  I watched "Inside Out" with Mom.  It's a very touching movie, and I was deeply moved.

Chicago

We went to the area where Dad and Mom lived and their favorite 24-hour diner, and walked on the lake front.  I lived in Chicago for 8 months before moving to Evanston.  While I don't remember anything, Dad and Mom had lots of good memory there for themselves as well as with their visitors.
