In the subway to the zoo park

We visited the Shanghai Wildlife park which is kind of far from downtown. We first took the subway to the 張江高科, then took 30 mins taxi. In the subway, I read my favorite book "Ariel Loves Princess Eric" - from Disney Princess series.

Safari Tour

Fortunately, this zoo park is really interesting. We enjoyed the safari ride. The quality of this wildlife park is much better than the Shanghai zoo where we visited several weeks ago for three possible reasons: 1) it is remote and can't easily access by subway or city bus, 2) the ticket is 3 times more expensive, 3) there are much less food stands, 4) wildlife park is relatively new. Anyway, next time, please go to the wildlife zoo with me.

At the 浦東世紀公園 (Century Park)

Finally, we found somewhere to go which is quiet, clean and close to the city. Even though the size of the park is small than the Shanghai Botanic Garden, the quality of the environment is one hundred times better than the botanic garden. I believe that Shanghai needs to provide a better quality of living to be proud to be one of the best cities in the world.

Show Dad's gift

We celebrate Dad's birthday at the brunch in Shanghai Four Seasons Hotel. The buffet is delicious and we all eat a lot. The gift inside is a nice sort of chocolates by Leonidas.

Lego time

Can you name my master piece? Playing Lego has been my routine after dinner. I named all the dolls and the one in the picture is my favorite. I call her Mia.

When Jolene met Sofie and Sasha...

Sofie and Sasha visited us on April 25th which was a week before the Labor Day weekend. We enjoyed a nice walk along the Bund and strolled on 南京東路. Most importantly, I received lots of sweet hugs from Sofie. Even though we met for the first time, we felt so familiar. No doubt, we are all cute!

Happy Mothers Day

Side notes: We celebrated the Mothers Day at the Bund No.6 Japanese restaurant. After that, mom and I walked along the Nangjing East Rd. At school, I made the wristlet (on my wrist) and the red-yellow-green flower for my dear Mom.

Kid's Republic 蒲蒲兰绘本館

Mom took me to "Kid's Republic" (http://www.poplar.com.cn) near Jing An Temple. It is not as impressive as the pictures show on their website, but it is still an interesting place. We will go to its story time on the weekend.

Labor Day weekend to West Lake (杭州西湖遊)

The west lake is really a nice place to visit, but better be there on regular weekends. Traffic is not bad and food in general is good. Since I am having a minor fever, we cancel the one-day tour and enjoy a very relaxing day.
