Ballet annual performance

After nearly four months of practice, the 7th Annual Performance of Shanghai Etoile Ballet Studio took place today.  This was my 3rd year participation in the annual performance.  A lot of time (3 studio and 1 theater rehearsals) was spent and we presented our best to our family and friends after all the hard work.

Calligraphy

On the way back to Shanghai in Taoyuan airport, we saw a booth of calligraphy.  While Mom and I were writing the new year door display, a gentleman stopped by and started writing the calligraphy.  He gave us as a gift.  It was really pretty.  Mom regretted that she didn't ask for his name.

An afternoon with Megan and Jewel

Although time was tight, we managed to get together for an afternoon during the holidays.  It was always fun to hang out with Megan and Jewel.  Glad Mibao became Gang #4. :)

Look how much I enjoyed spending time with Mibao!  I like to teach Mibao tricks.  Mibao can be very funny sometimes.

Our annual trip to Chia-Yi prior to CNY

We were on the way to Chia-Yi for the annual hometown trip before CNY.

Here is 布袋 where Grandpa grew up.  The high-heeled church was newly built as a new point of interest.

Here comes the big dinner at this local cuisine restaurant famous for its free-range chicken and vegetables.  We were heading to the Highspeed railway station afterwards back to Taipei to end this busy while meaningful day.

We came back to Taiwan yesterday for the 2-week Chinese New Year holiday.  We spent the first day having a nice gathering with Megan and Corena in Taipei. Here's the nice setting in Bella Vita.
