Violist on the move

After meeting with Kodi and Hanna, we came to Changping.  I hadn't been there for a long time.

I could have made some money by playing the violin in this gigantic airport--if not for our flight was cancelled after we were all checked in and passed the security!  I guess it's not our good weekend for air travel...

Upon the completion of my intense end of year exams, Mom took me to Guangzhou to meet Auntie Yaweng and her family before they headed back to Singapore.  They just had a new addition to their family--Baby Hanna.  It's a wonderful get-together with them although the travel didn't go too well (that's another long story).  We were so glad to meet Hanna for the first time, and happy for all of them.  We'll see you again!

End of Year Exams

Ten days of final weeks are finally over.  It's really intense.  We have three more weeks to go though.  Does it really make sense to rush the exams this early?

IFD Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon

Mom was a volunteer in IFD this year.  The PSG held an appreciation luncheon for all the volunteers.  The theme was Hawaiian.  The luncheon was fun and it's always good to catch up with mommy friends!

Dad's birthday

Happy Birthday to my dearest dad.  I gave him my hand-made birthday card and will try not to be naughty too often. ;)

My new 1/2" violin

I finally outgrew my first 1/4" violin.  I was so grateful that Mom bought me a fully hand-made 1/2" violin for my advanced practice.  I'll keep on going and will do my best to play the beautiful music.

SCIS Dance Production

Yoyo is my dance pal in my ballet class.  She performed in her school's dance production "Happily Never After" with her two elder sisters, Didi and Gigi.  Her biggest sister, Didi had a leading role in the show.  It was a very interesting and creative production, and the best part is this show was done 90% by the senior students on and off the stage.  Well done!

SSIS Sports Day

We won the second place in G4 Girl's relay!

悅榕莊

This is the best resort in 西溪濕地 area.  Very nice and pricy.  We didn't get to stay there this time, but will try to spend a night or two in the future.

西溪濕地

We went to 西溪濕地 during Labor Day weekend.  It was hot and crowded.
