Mother's Day lunch with our neighbors at a fancy Cantonese restaurant newly opened in Xintiandi. The decor is amazing! We are entering to a new Chinese style era--grand and proud!
After playing the violin for 1.5 years, I had my first "grand" violin performance in Ms. Lexy's first student concert. As I have played this music piece at Student Led Conference last month, I was not very nervous. However, pairing with piano is my first time. It's quite fun and I am glad that I have fine tuned this piece.
Uncle Ian came to Shanghai for a business meeting. He tried the popular share bikes and went to my Saturday classes with me. We enjoyed the "8 o'clock drink-up fun" at 乾杯.
Mom and Dad went to the Thai Corner event held by Thai embassy in Shanghai Botanic Garden. Mom learned about flower arrangement from a Chinese master. It's fun!
It's been a while since I played badminton with Dad as the coach forbid me to play it before all my basic moves were solid. I am not there yet but it's good just to play around especially I don't go to the badminton class any more.
