Rainy Sunday

When it comes to a rainy Sunday, we usually pick up one of the numerous malls in Shanghai to hang out.  Subway is the easiest way to go around the city then.

Picasso in Shanghai

We made it to the Picasso in Shanghai on the last day of exhibition.  It was my first time seeing Picasso's art.  Although I didn't quite understand most of it, Mom explained to me with the help of the audio guide.    I like the way he put the colors together and the composition in his abstract work.

Starbucks

The smallest Starbucks I had ever seen.  The person takes your order in one "column" and goes to anther "column" to make the coffee--fully utilized the space.  It's located in Shanghai Center (上海商城).

Panda play in Shanghai Zoo

Shanghai Zoo has gone through major face-lifts since we moved to Shanghai almost 3 years ago (same as lots of parts in this city).  It has become a good place for leisure and learning, and much cleaner than a few years ago.  Although it has room to improve, it's indeed impressive to see such big changes occurring.  Panda is sort of a must-visit spot in major zoos in China.  We were really lucky to see three panda playing together for almost 10 mins.  That was much cuter than what we used to see--eat, eat and eat.  We figured cold weather is actually a better time to visit them, and Kungfu Panda might not be all imaginary...

2011 Closure

It's hard to conclude a year using 10 photos--my life has been fruitful and colorful.  Just a quick review for this year.
1st line: January in Taiwan/ February in HK Disney/June school event/July in Chicago Botanic Garden/August in Evanston YMCA Swimming lesson.
2nd line: September in Qindao/October in Bangkok/April at Uncle Ian's wedding/December at Auntie Suron's wedding.

I wish I will have an even better year in 2012!  Happy New Year, everyone!
